「ハイレベル・ダイアローグ アフリカにおけるゼロマラリア達成に向けた課題と挑戦」
この度は、1988年に設立されたマラリアとの闘いを終わらせるために各種活動をコーディネートするグローバルなプラットフォーム、RBM Partnership to End Malariaの代表を務めるアブドゥラハム・ディアロ博士（Dr Abdourahmane Diallo）がモデレーターとなり、TICAD VIIサイドイベント「アフリカにおけるゼロマラリア達成に向けた課題と挑戦」を開催いたします。イベントでは、ハーバード大学公衆衛生大学院 (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health)の教授でWHOマラリア政策提言委員会の議長を務めるダイアン・ワース教授（Dyann F. Wirth）、国際NGO「Malaria No More」代表のマーティン・エドルンド（Martin Edlund）など、国内外の産官学民からゲストに迎え、ドナー国・国際機関及び当事国がマラリア対策を通じた持続可能な保健システムの構築によるUHC実現のための課題と挑戦を議論します。

TICAD VII side event
High-level Dialogue on the Sidelines of the 2019 Tokyo International Conference on African Development: Progress and Challenges in Achieving Malaria Elimination in Africa
Malaria No More Japan will co0organize TICAD VII official side event with RBM Partnership to End Malaria about the progress and challenges to end malaria in Africa.
This high-level dialogue will focus on the progress and remaining challenges in the malaria fight in Africa, including the latest stakeholder perspectives, the role of partnerships in malaria elimination, the importance of endemic country leadership and building sustainable health systems. It will highlight the work of the broader partnership in striving to achieve global malaria and universal health coverage (UHC) targets set for 2030.
The dialogue will be conducted with simultaneous interpretation in Japanese and English.
